ABOUT STEVE
Steven Futch is a retired Marine Corps Officer, Certified Professional Hunter and former Associate Editor of PETERSEN’S HUNTING MAGAZINE. Steven has published scores of articles pertaining to shooting, hunting and outdoor sports in venues such as American Hunter, American Rifleman, North American Hunter, Buckmasters, Petersen’s Hunting, Big Buck, Journal of Texas Trophy Hunters and other notable big-game hunting and firearms publications. He specializes in North American species, having personally taken eight trophies that qualify for Boone & Crockett Trophy Records entry and many more that qualify for Safari Club International Records entry. His dedication to freedom, firearms ownership, conservation and our hunting heritage are clearly reflected in his history, contributions, affiliations, memberships and certifications. Oscar “Chip” Killian has twenty-two years of elk and deer breeding and game ranching experience. A North Louisiana native, he has studied, observed and hunted whitetail deer for over forty years. Each year, he guides hunters on successful trophy hunts of a lifetime. An expert in stand placement and field judging antler racks, “Chip” knows how to get you on your trophy whitetail or axis deer.
